DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special luncheon honoring Monique Parker\, CSP\, the 114th President of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and Chair of the ASSP Foundation.\n\nA dedicated member of the ASSP Tarheel Chapter for more than two decades\, Monique has been a passionate leader and advocate for the safety profession. Throughout her ASSP journey\, she has actively supported and led several Common Interest Groups\, including Women in Safety Excellence (WISE)\, Blacks in Safety Excellence (BISE)\, and Hispanic Safety Professionals\, helping to advance diversity\, inclusion\, and professional development across the industry. She has also served on the ASSP Board of Directors since 2024.\n\nWith more than 20 years of experience in environmental\, health\, and safety leadership across multiple industries\, Monique currently serves as Chief Sustainability Officer at Elevra Lithium.\n\nDuring this engaging luncheon\, attendees will have the opportunity to hear about Monique's professional journey\, learn how her involvement with ASSP helped shape her career\, and gain valuable insights into the many benefits of ASSP membership and leadership opportunities.\n\nCommunity Impact Opportunity\n\nIn partnership with Second Chance Boutique and Thrift Store in Monroe\, we will also be hosting a donation drive for gently used professional and business attire. These donations help support women who are survivors of domestic abuse by providing them with free access to interview-ready clothing as they prepare to re-enter the workforce and pursue new opportunities.\n\nWe encourage attendees to bring a donation and join us in supporting this meaningful initiative while celebrating an inspiring leader in our profession.\n\nWhere: IPEX USA LLC – 10320 Rodney St\, Pineville NC 28134\nWhen: Tuesday\, November 17th – Networking from 1130-12pm.  Event is from 12-1pm.\n\nAll are welcome.\n\nCapacity limited to 25.
