April Meeting @ the Charlotte Regional Safety and Health Conference

National ASSP Society President-elect Diana Stegall will speak at the Tarheel Chapter April meeting on Thursday April 4, 2019 as part of the 25th Annual Charlotte Regional Safety and Health Conference. Topics to include the recent re-branding of ASSP, the Society’s mission and identify ASSP initiatives, professional development opportunities and the value of Chapter service to the advancement of one’s safety career.

Diana Stegall, CSP, CFPS, ARM, CPCU

Diana Stegall has been a professional member of the American Society of Safety Professionals since 1990. She has served as the chair of both the Professional Development Conference Planning Committee, and the Council on Member and Region Affairs Education and Training Committee. Other Society involvement includes serving as a member of the Council on Professional Development, and Governmental Affairs and Bylaws committees. She has also provided leadership in planning symposiums.Stegall is a senior loss control specialist for United Heartland in Minnesota, providing technical and managerial assistance to clients. Previously, she was the loss control branch manager for Chubb, and she also worked at PMA, Reliance and USF&G. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University.Stegall’s notable awards and honors include being the first female to receive the Society’s Safety Professional of the Year (SPY) Award; receiving the Charles V. Culbertson Outstanding Volunteer Service Award twice; and being recognized as the SPY for two chapters and two regions.
