Speaker Mike Ryan, National Sales Manager, HazTek Safety Management Inc.

Mike brings over 20 years of construction safety experience with an expertise in scaffolds. Mike is a Certified Safety Management Practitioner through ISHM. Mike had been the coordinator of PPE and safety supplies for the response efforts during the anthrax attack at the Hart Senate Office Building in Washington, DC. His expertise was also tapped during the Lehman Brothers anthrax mailroom hoax response in New York City, where he had cleared the scene with a live threat assessment kit. Mike has held the position of Inaugural President of Appalachian STEPS Network (Service, Transmission, Exploration, and Production Safety), a national safety organization founded by OSHA and companies in the oil/gas industry. Ryan has also been the recipient of three American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers Safety Awards, contributed several articles for National Safety magazine and received numerous professional safety certifications.
